“Privacy matters at any age.”
May 3 – 9, 2015
Privacy Awareness Week is a global effort, coordinated by members of the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA), to promote awareness of privacy issues and the importance of the protection of personal information.
Young, old or somewhere in between, it’s important for people of all ages to take steps to protect their personal information. When you take control of what you put out there, you can reduce the risk of spam and other unwanted communication, identity theft and fraud.
The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OIPC ) has a number of resources to help you protect your privacy online and offline.
