Posted on February 23, 2018 by Jean Eaton in Blog, PMN Replay

Have you just been told that you are responsible to train the new person in your healthcare clinic?

Are frustrated when you try to connect the people you supervise or work with?

Do you struggle to address issues, identify problems, or move things forward?

Are you feeling hesitant, overwhelmed or unsure in your day to day responsibilities?

Do you  sometimes feel like the world is out to get you, it’s somebody else’s fault, or find yourself saying if only they would change, or if only things were different?

Not sure what to do next?

Then you have come to the right place!

Kathy Archer of Silver River Coaching is our guest expert on Practice Management Nuggets Webinars for Your Healthcare Practice. Kathy will share her tips and tools with you so that you can start your journey to restore your lost confidence and move from surviving to thriving in both leadership and life.

Many women working in a small practice clinic have leadership roles thrust upon them without clear expectations or support. We don’t all naturally grow into our leadership roles as quickly as situations demand.

Join the webinar with Kathy, and leave the webinar with a renewed hope that you can feel in control of your leadership experience.

Do You Listen to Podcasts?

Posted on March 15, 2017 by Jean Eaton in Blog

There are two types of people in the world; those who regularly listen to podcasts and those who don’t. I read a statistic lately that said one in five Americans listens to podcasts every month. One in five!

For anyone who doesn’t know, a podcast is basically a digital recording. An audio-only talk show. The modern radio show.

You can find podcasts on every topic under the sun. The reason I love them so much is that you can listen to them anytime, anywhere! In the car, folding the laundry, taking a walk… but there are several other benefits of podcasts, including:

  • Podcasts are constructive and filled with positive information.
  • Podcasts are entertaining.
  • Podcasts are usually free!
  • Podcasts can help you become the best version of yourself.
  • Podcasts force you to stop and listen. With all that background noise out there these days, how often do you really listen?

Share Your Favourite Podcasts

This month, the hosts of hundreds of podcasts all over the world are joining forces to bring more attention to the joy of listening to podcasts. If you’re in the “listen to podcasts all the time” camp, you can help by sharing stories of why you listen to your favourite podcasts, and posting them with the clever hashtag #trypod. (I will send much good karma your way if you include #PracticeManagementNuggets in your Facebook and Twitter posts!)
