Walk through the PIA process including project overview, personal information inventory, information flow, risk analysis, safeguards and Privacy Impact Assessment format.  You will receive templates, tools and resources, and one common case study.  You can use this approach and your new skills to prepare your PIA project.

Bring your laptop and internet connection and work on-line or use pen and paper to make this a meaningful workshop for you!

Jean Eaton, your Practical Privacy Coach, will walk you through the PIA process.

Jean is constructively obsessive about privacy, confidentiality, and security when it comes to the handling of personal information, particularly in primary health care settings. You will learn how to use practical pro-active privacy in your practice.  Privacy Education programs that are actually fun and . . . practical!   Jean is a Certified Health Information Management Professional, Toastmaster and entrepreneur with a BA Administration.

I help you with templates, user guides, real-life examples, networking, practical resources and mentoring. I give you the confidence to take care of the elephant in the room.
