This session will explore emerging research in FASD, in the areas of incidence/prevalence, prevention, assessment/diagnosis, clinical profile, and intervention, and a discussion of how this research can impact practice.

  1. To provide an overview of key areas of research currently being conducted with the FASD population and themes emerging from this research
  2. To discuss how service delivery and day-to-day practice can be informed by emerging research, and the ways in which practitioners can apply this to the work that they do
  3. To explore next steps in both the practice and research world for those working with the FASD population

Privacy Awareness Week is a global effort, coordinated by members of the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities (APPA), to promote awareness of privacy issues and the importance of the protection of personal information.

Young, old or somewhere in between, it’s important for people of all ages to take steps to protect their personal information.  When you take control of what you put out there, you can reduce the risk of spam and other unwanted communication, identity theft and fraud.

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OIPC ) has a number of resources to help you protect your privacy online and offline.
